Hi! Recently came back to NS after a few years not playing, but got a small problem. It crashes when im in-game and i could be doing anything, or nothing at all )building, commanding, just standing there).
But when it crashes i can go to desktop and end it, but even then the brightness of my screen goes up a ridiculous scale and i have to restart my PC to get the brightness and colours back to normal.
Drivers are up to date gfx wise, everything seems fine, but obviously it isnt! Please help!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/marine.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::marine::" border="0" alt="marine.gif" />

The heightened gamma thing is normal on crashes, I think you can get rid of it by changing your desktop resolution back and forth or something (can't remember atm).

Unfortunately, I don't know of any random CTD bugs, which means that all I can say is the standard ideas:
    1) Uninstall/Reinstall NS
    2) Uninstall/Reinstall HL & NS
    3) Makes sure ALL of your drivers are up to date.
    4) Full malware scans.
    5) Shut down all non essential programs.
    6) Are any other programs giving you issues? HL? other mods?

Just an FYI, there is a tool in the root ns folder (half-life/ns) called GammaReset.exe. If you click on it, that will reset your gamma to the appropriate level.
