NS leap crash

I have a problem where NS will occasionally crash when I use the <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skulk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::skulk::" border="0" alt="skulk.gif" /> leap ability, usually when there are one or more marines nearby. NS has not crashed at any other time, ONLY when using Leap. It does not CTD, but instead locks into a sound loop until I shut it down with ctrl-alt-del.

I am able to use every other skulk ability without a problem, as well as every ability from any other class.

Is there a console setting that would fix this? I know a couple months ago there was a Steam update that caused the same type of crash shortly after joining any server, but if you shut off seeing the names of any team mate you were aiming at, it fixed it. Is there something similar for NS?

    This is a known bug. Just use the reload key to leap.

    known bug, no known fix that I'm aware of;
    you'll have to bind "+movement" to a key, which will leap/blink/charge where appropriate it's just something you'll have to get used to :/

    Ahh, thanks. I had completely forgotten that leap could be used the same way Blink can, and I blink everywhere <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    I also have a similar problem, except in my case it happens when I use the fade ability, blink. Is there a known issue with that too?
