<div class="IPBDescription">(for 360)</div>Hello!
After reading Charlie's Twitter remarks about 360-ability I thought you might find the help of Benjamin Heckendorn to be of possible use, as a contractor in the 360 control department:
<a href="http://benheck.com/" target="_blank">http://benheck.com/</a>
Examples of some of his work:
<a href="http://hackaday.com/page/2/?s=360+controller" target="_blank">http://hackaday.com/page/2/?s=360+controller</a>
<a href="http://hackaday.com/?s=Ben+Heck+controller" target="_blank">http://hackaday.com/?s=Ben+Heck+controller</a>
Peace!

I really think that UWE should just focus on PC and save the 360 for last.
NS is just NOT for console platform, I cant imagine how one will be able to control the game EVEN with simplifications to the UI.
An FPS(+strategy ;]) game is NOT for gamepad!
Altough WII with its accelerometer is a whole other story... xD
Would be fun to leap with the mote^^
Next, NS2... On the Wii.
WII FTW!!!!!!!
A very fast-paced first-person shooter. Controllers simply can not match the precision of a mouse, and the speed of the game
is too high for controllers to make precise or variable (as in speed, fast or slow) enough movements for you to aim at such high-speed and seemingly-random-moving objects. Basically you need mouselook.
And a real time strategy. Same as the mouse issue above, though not as pronounced. Also lacks keyboard hotkeys. But really, how many good RTSs have you ever played on any console...
The one console with a controller that I could think of that might work is the Wii*. But have any FPS, or similar-type, games been made for it and worked well? I played like, Red Steel, at a friend's place, and the controls for me were really quite clunky.
*The way I see it though, would be a bit like a force-feedback stick on a controller. The crosshair stays in the middle, and the distance and direction from the crosshair (ie from the point that your wiimote is pointing to) determines the speed at and direction to which the screen will rotate. It's all theory though. Unless anyone knows of a game that has done this?
Also I don't buy what BCSeph said about the demographic. People like that wouldn't "ruin" the game, they'd simply not play it.
Thats why im happy to see the devs use a pc adapter with wireless controller ;]

oh man i can't mind a xbox 360 version of ns2...maybe if you not thinking but always shooting and walking, that would be a perfect console game.
So if ns2 is a stupid shooter like left 4 dead, its comming for xbox 360.
