<div class="IPBDescription">For the mod's sake</div>I was recently checking the ModDB site for the top 100 Mods of the Year, and I found NS's original award for Mod of the Year back in the day.
I then checked the page for this mod; it's still listed as a Half Life 2 mod. I'm so damn surprised that this hasn't been addressed yet.
Please update it. Please begin adding news bits to the ModDB site again. This is a direct and simple way to rekindle interest in this mod turned game. I love this mod too much to let this sort of thing go.

Does anyone know if you can even add other moderators to a mod/game? I don't see that anywhere.
That certainly didn't stop the guys at IsoTX from doing media releases for Warlord.
It was a guess. Evidently it was the wrong one.
If you're interested, please write me at charlie@unknownworlds.com, with your forum handle, ModDB handle and anything that might convince me you're passionate and going to do a good job and not fill it with Viagra/Cialis ads...

Great Idea Flayra, hopefully you get someone good to do that job.
You need to make a group (e.g. 'NS developers'), make it invite only, and then connect it to the mod using
<user> > Mods > <mod> > edit mod details (under the 'mod profile' section)
Then you invite the members you want, edit the group details to make them moderators and change their permissions, and they should be able to post news.
But it gives us that extra stamina to post long ardurous TLDR topics. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
On a serious note, yes news needs to spread that NS2 isn't a mod and is continually being updated with -----><u><b>Developer</b></u><----- feedback. With the current gaming situation of EA bashing (they desrve it) and Monolith 16:9 PC aspect ratio only (Fear 2 is gonna fail hard), this would be a good time to suck all those players in (without too much trickery) with the most promising FPS game that is not created by Valve.
Holy crap, I feel significant. <img src="http://www.whendarknessfalls.org/forums/style_emoticons/default/blink.gif" border="0" class="linked-image" />
And they even talk about it in their modcast. =] NS2 has come back into the spotlight of moddb regulars.
