Shot Hints Bubbles?

How can I get it so I don't have to see the hint bubbles in the game. I unchecked it under the options but I still see them ingame.

try cl_autohelp 0 in the console. (And if that seems to complex... If you can't turn it off, perhaps you still need the help <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )

If I remember correctly those hint boxes actually tell you how to turn them off.. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> (And yeah, it's the way Terr says)
