<div class="IPBDescription">Wide Subject.</div>First thing I like to say is, could you fit in a wall, barricade, (anything in between) for protection for either side. Ask me for my ideas on alien walls.

On other thoughts Marines could set up traps like they did with mines in NS1 but less visible (smaller) (nets, bear traps, little map made traps for both sides) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> .

Adding the ability to lay down for better aiming.(sprinting)

The thing I want to see most in this game is breakable appendages, bleeding, and kickback. (effects very) (bandages for bleeding and small splints for broken or fractured legs)

The ability to drag teammates to safety and allowing the person being dragged to shoot.

A small body box in bottom left corner for hurt areas. (colors show damage Green, Red, Yellow)

Put small angles in the arms legs etc, for broken areas.

I got the idea for Breakable appendages of a old old old game it might of been a HL1 mod but I can't find it anymore.

    You're thinking of the 'firearms' mod for HL1 (afaik).

    I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of these ideas.

    Walls to block things would be annoying, and would stop the fluid movement of the game. Besides, OCS, turrets and marine structures already play some of that role (no need for duplication).

    Breaking legs, and being a crippled marine would just be lame (lol). This would screw up the pace of ns, and just add a whole lot of luck to the game.

    These ideas would be extremely hard to implement, not to mention, what is a skulk without his limbs? Could be a very lame game.

    As for traps, lets not exaggerate. Technology advanced marines aren't going to use bear traps and nets. I think after the first encounter with the aliens (onos) that they'd give up on nets and mousetraps, don't you think? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    Regarding walls, I think that's what gorges and their 'seedlings' will be for. On the other side of the coin, welders might be able to weld up a wall, or something like that.
