Hello, I use ns 3.0 && hl 1.1, I have found bot for ns. Bots it's planned in ns 2?

    NS 2 is going to be a free standing game (not a mod) right? if so i think they will include bots hopfully a campain 2 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> but i am not a game creater so i dont know ^^ but can almost bet that they will include bots

    I was about to say almost certainly not, but come to think of it they're already doing a bunch of AI-controlled things (glowies etc), so it's not entirely impossible. Just unlikely.

    Because some people have play in ns mod for hl1 with bots, and it's so good for play alone for improve play game.
    And why not possibility to play at 1 player in a team and 999 player in the other team.

    whew, what a brain workout!
    The only good bots i've seen in a game are the UT series, and even then it's "head-shot Harry" or "gimp-style Gary"

    I say leave it online-only multiple player game.

    I cannot stress this enough. I will buy both copies (PC and 360) if this is the case, consoles should be about playing with mates in the same room as you, playing with your buddy and laying the smack down on some punk-ass fifteen year old from Texas is a great feeling. If they both only offer single-player online, then it's either/or PC/360.

    I think they have stated somewhere in the forums that they will not be including bots or a single player game mode. They're counting on the community to create alternative game types. With the power of Lua at the hands of the entire NS/NS2 community I'm sure bots will be available through the many loyal Natural Selection fan coders out there.

    Me thinks after some time a few people will create some ai for bots in NS2, but I doubt there will be any at launch.

    Yeah they were talking about the AI for the Nymphs... or whatever they're called.
