how about a shirt that has infestation on the left side creeping over to the right <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

<img src="http://www.amnet.net.au/~poveys/ns/nstshirt1.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /><!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->I'm not sure how cheap a wrap-around print like that is, but I'm totally sold on that concept. The colors are good, too.
I'd like to see some options featuring different units in the game, not just logos for each side...the base colors should either be black, or game colors (marine green/grey, infestation orange, or interface blue) (example: green/grey shirt with a pocket-size command chair on front, large TSA logo on back)
I bought the HL2 collector's edition when that game came out, and the shirt that came with it (black with H2 logo) was ok until it went through the wash just once (solid black). You can still see a faint outline of the logo if you look very closely. Other people have already made the point but I want to stress it - Please don't even bother with apparel if the quality is subpar.

threadless.com might be a good place to start, they do good tshirts<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Honestly the best place to start would be to talk to web comics that have already merchandised... like @sohmer from <a href="http://leasticoulddo.com" target="_blank">http://leasticoulddo.com</a> Sohmer has even already done plushies, keychains, and underwear. So yeah. A Gorge plushie or a Lerk keychain don't have to be impossibilities.
if UW sold gorge plushies, they wouldnt have to worry about money anymore.. i want one <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />
Love the alien t-shirt, but would never wear a t-shirt in orange. Whats wrong with a black t-shirt with a simple white image on it.
Oh and would love a gorge plushie <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
I would love to show myself off in a NS2 t-shirt, but please make some long-sleeved ones too. Somehow, these thin, pale, and geeky arms don't quite like to be out in the public much...
N_3 the TSA Shirt looks very awesome. I'm not sure how difficult it is to print such a thing but I would definatly buy one of those <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> I don't like the colour of the alien shirt but this oversized print style is a very good idea imho.
my guess is most of you don't have a NS t shirt already. a lot are saying don't go crap quality, the original shirts which you can still buy today, are definitely not of crap quality, the work almost looks air brushed on, i has a gorge shirt and i gotta say its one of my favorites, and its gets more comments than any of my other T's, apart from one experience were some one miss took it as my name, but then re read it like a question till i turned around and showed them the combat wombat on the back, and they almost climaxed at the concept art of old. as Charlie said they don't stint on quality. so why would they start now.
I would definitely buy a t-shirt. I think some of the concept art would make great designs. Or have your concept artist come up with some new ones specifically for t-shirts. Just an idea.
Someone on here keeps suggesting like a gorge plushie, can we get one of those too? ^_^
hahaha yes a revived thread, but it's only from April.... Perhaps this idea was cooked up before the idea of pre-orders?
I wonder if it's still being considered, just on hold to get game-work done. I would sure hope so! I do enjoy the shirt in Flayra's attachment.... it would go well with my TSA logo tattoo ;D
I vote "other" for both! I want to see black AND white ones. Maybe Marines on black (because I'm SE ;D), and Aliens on white. I'd love a Gorge sliding around the bottom hem. A Skulk peering from a hole in my shirt somewhere. Maybe have a Lerk up on my shoulder. An Onos' stomach on mine, maybe have a Fade materializing out my side (all separate shirts, mind you. Yes, I'd buy them all). As for Marines, I wouldn't want any epic scenes. Just simple stuff. Maybe just an insignia, The Three Marines, that sort of stuff. Natural Selection 2 logo on one of the back shoulders. Having the logo high and in plain view (while small) is better than centered and large, as it's not the main focus.
The weird locations of the artwork intrigues people, and it depicts them in their elements. WoW shirts are ugly for this reason.

I'm gonna get some ideas down, I always disliked plain logo shirts. Either have some nice text that has a message or get all artsy.
1. 100% cotton please
2. Don't make it obvious it's a video game t-shirt (no website links please). I'd be embarrassed sporting such a thing.
3. Keep it simple- plain black t-shirt with a collar and the eye logo over a breast pocket would do for me.

One with some fancy Natural-Selection Themed image (uknow promotional stuff)
as Charlie said they don't stint on quality. so why would they start now.
Hovars Without Flapping
- Then put a tiny orange scorpian on the upper back of the shirt.

Personally I prefer something that's not overstated. Like the shirt Charlie posted, or the blue TSA concept. That yellow one was just too... yellow.
teh shirts = april fools joke D:
