A good advertising medium
I habitually listen to the following podcasts that would be happy to give NS2 a shoutout when the time comes:
Penny Arcade. If we can attract their attention. They don't usually discuss news, but they do discuss pretty much anything at the start of their podcast.
Joystiq. While they're more focused on console gaming, I'm sure we could pique their interest.
PC Gamer and PC Gamer UK. These guys would love NS2.
Rock, Paper, Shotgun. RPS is one of my favourite news websites, and I'm sure they'd jump at the chance to publicise NS2 for us. An interview with Charlie and Max could go a long way.
Anyone know of any other gaming-related podcasts we could attack once NS2's hype machine starts to ramp up?

cheapassgamer.com runs podcasts, although that is mostly for console again.
gamespy.com runs podcasts, that is a healthy sort of buzz to obtain.
Firingsquad.com (Thresh's site) is pretty nice but I couldn't find a podcast. Still their site is very popular and would attract mostly PC users.
Thats all I can think of now.
