<div class="IPBDescription">for suggestions regarding the teaser video</div>Ok, so we've all finally seen it and were completely 'wet our pants' excited about this game. But one important aspect of releasing a first look of a video game like this is feedback from the fans. Not necessarily good or bad, just helpful critiques to maximize the pure greatness that the developers can squeeze out of NS2. So lets hear it, what went right? what went wrong? The developers are eagerly awaiting our input.

THE DYNAMIC LIGHTING/PHYSICS

Absolutely beautiful, It looks so perfect for what I imagined NS2 to be. Specially (assuming this wasn't scripted) the pieces in the environment that responded to the shock of the Onos hits. Its those tiny details that really make a game transcend.

THE ONOS ARMOR

My only constructive criticism. The armor looks a little inorganic in places. The mandible parts and the shin guards in particular are quite literally square. Not too big a deal, but my suggestion would be to just do some vertex displacements to round it out a little and give it that organic feeling.

    I agree with the above.

The lighting and atmosphere was fantastic!

The onos armour was a little bit "blocky" and inorganic, especially on the legs. I also think the onos' roar could have been a bit longer, it seems to be a little cut off at the moment.

    Looking great though <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

I agree with the above comments.

Also I can see you've put a lot of thought into it by having it show off onos armor, DI, the marine responses to the commander, destructible welded door, etc. I think it might be good to flesh these ideas out on the NS2 website so the average visitor will recognize nifty gameplay enhancements and not just see a scripted sequence.
