<div class="IPBDescription">Genetic version of Khaara research</div>I don´t know if this is the actually <a href="http://www.ausns2.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/8722492.jpg" target="_blank">http://www.ausns2.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/8722492.jpg</a> research plan for NS2 Khaara
but I think this belongs not to an evolving alien race <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> (but the Idea with the dynamic strategies is great!!)

So my idea bases on the genetic lifeforms and their characteristics which NS2 effects

Skulk => stronger bite, more armor, faster

So the alien command has to change the DNS of the skulk:
stronger bite => get bigger mouth muscles
more armor => evolve hard skin / or a other kind of skin, like leather/armor?
faster => evolve more moving muscles

For each lifeforms other concepts, or some characteristics like "more armor" will change the lerk and gorge skin too

So what you think about this idea?

you dont want a one hitting 50 hp having speed of light glass cannon skulk,
but the basic idea is very interesting maybe there should be special prices for every time you adapt your "army" and these prices variate depending on how extreme your changes are so for example maximizing speed and maximizing damage should either be very expensive (or impossible) but as viewed in the screenshot it sounds nice, because you can improve your basic skulks to scale better while the game progresses and you don't have useless free ressource giving skulks in the lategame.
Maybe add sliders for more interesting stuff or more special stuff like parasite dmg or weird stuff like that <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Just one question who did this work ? "polite feedback: charlie@unknownworlds.com" so is it fake or somekind of official plan for alien commanding ?

Thanks for any clarification, the idea is very neat.

It's the real deal; it is a twitter post from a little while ago.
