<div class="IPBDescription">a la Battlefield 2</div>Well the topic says it but here goes.
Sometimes you wanna play and have no mic or wifey/hubby is in the room and you can't use it. [NoMic]Silverwing
Sometimes (like now) you have had a few beers [Drunk]Silverwing
Sometimes you wanna flash your latest clantag [BoK]Silverwing
Please consider adding an easily-changed prefix to your permanent nick.
To reiterate: Your Steam-afilliated Nick (in my case Silverwing) would be the same but you can easily change the prefix [this].
See?
Can I get a hell yeah?!
::EDIT:: Don't enter a spelling-bee drunk

Thanks for not reading the OP at all. Fail, try again.
What I mean is a prefix to your permanent, steam-bound nick. A way to tell other players that you have no sound, cannot use the mic, are drunk, are in a clan or any number of things. I suspect the main use of this would be for Clan prefixes but I know from experience in BF2 that it is very useful for things like [NoMic] or [NoSound].
Again, naming rules could remain exactly as they are, the only thing changed would be an easily-changed (on a per-session basis) prefix. Or name-rules could mimic BF2 and be locked to a STEAM-id. I would prefer the latter option but this is entirely optional. Why would I prefer this? Okie i can understand games like BF2/142, but that is for stats online and all.
So from what i understand you want an option for just prefix (tags)?
Yeah, the other stuff just kinda snuck in.
