If your question is "does this game work with a keyboard and mouse control scheme," the answer is "yes." There were a few subtle clues that this is a console port (such as pressing shift to back out of a menu), but the controls have been tweaked to work perfectly fine with a keyboard and mouse and there was no point in the game where I found myself wishing I had a gamepad.

It must be because someone's made some sort of middleware that maps 360 controls onto the keyboard for quick and dirty ports, but why would they map it like this, WHY OH WHY? Every time I tested a port that had this bug I crushed it like an over-ripe blackberry underfoot.

But pad is all wrong. You don't "pad" someone. It's not a word for doing that with.
The only "pad" you can do is a way of walking (like silently pad around) but even that isn't used very much. Fairly sure the last time I saw it was in a Sherlock Holmes book.

Who said you was? Me? I didn't say you were American, someone else must have said that. This is about batman, not about who said what. Stay on topic, shall we? :)

Although Croc might get mad and sue you for trademark infringement.

And why only his back?
This story of yours is making less and less sense.
edit: See what I did there? No, because you can't make sense of my story, that's what.

One win one loss, it's back on zero now, mate. Batman would be disappoint.
Uncalled for Svenpa, uncalled for.
I think some people may have been cheating a bit.
