I can't imagine that they can promise that since everyone who bought Special Edition got the same.

So maybe they have the Alpha on auction, the one who buys the Special Edition last before the Alpha gets released gets it first.

    That would encourage people to wait instead of purchasing now, and anyone who miscalculates when the Alpha comes out misses out on buying the special edition and UWE loses money.
