    Yes the Alpha will be playable!! Just those who ordered the SE also get the tools during Alpha.

    What's the point of saying "access to Alpha" when it's not playable?

    Well I didn't think they would release an "unplayable" alpha version of the game.

    It likely means it'll be playable in that you can load the game and launch a server and such but I wouldn't get your hopes up about playing it like you play the current natural selection. Many things in there will likely be incomplete and it will be a while till there is balance while playing a multiplayer game.

    I think I'm going to lock this for now because I don't want people to get their hopes up. If another mod wants to leave it open for discussion, that is fine.
