Brightness Problem

When it crashes [ <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> ] and goes to the desktop, the desktop and everything else that I see is very bright and I have to restart my computer or log off then on.

If you go to your start menu, under the "Natural Selection" category should be an option called "Reset Gamma." This will put your monitor's gamma settings back to the default, not the increased value used while playing NS.
