Secondly, you have a constitutional framework limiting the directions in which government can legislate.     Yes there are many ways to approach the idea but they all result in stuffing some people up to please others, either the majority stuff the minority, the minority stuff the majority, or the democratic system stuffs everyone somewhat.

    Hence my assertion that democracy is kinda impossible.
