Are you considering switching to a scooter in a down economy and rising gas prices?
Many people have cars. How many people have scooters? Granted, you need a powerful enough scooter to go on highways without slowing down traffic. Scooters seem to have good milage per gallon. I have seen at least two scooters with at least 250 cc of power and being street legal in California on sale for under $1700 before tax. Who rides a scooter? Who has one that is legal on highways and registered with the DMV? Was it easy to get a class M liscence? Is your insurance pretty cheep? Have you tried riding motocycles? What draws you to a scooter instead?
WARING: For all those who may become interested in scooters, please read up your laws and make sure you are not breaking any law in your particular state. Also be proactive about saftey precautions and measures.
