You should make it so the hives are always spawned in a differnt of the 3 set locations so the marines dont always know where to go first.

This is how it already is?

I believe they stated initially that hives / marines will start in static locations for now and there are plans that it'll randomise the spawn point.

I think this is partly to do with DI and how it will eventually work. I mean if you have a random spawn point for the hive, where does the DI start spreading from?

I would assume the DI comes from the hive. If the hive is dead, the infestation starts to go away. Similar to the creep colony in StarCraft.

I would like to see the hive start in random places every game like it is in NS.

Yeah, but I think with the inclusion of DI they need to work out the mechanics of making this happen properly.

Perhaps it's easy and they obviously haven't approached it... perhaps it isn't so easy. *shrug*
We'll have to wait and see when the editor is more developed and we can start looking at play-testing maps... until then.

    *waits*
