That video could have been much better, frankly. On the other hand, I don't doubt the validity of what it shows to me, unlike the "space invaders on a facade" video, which is cool but obviously either fake or staged.

man, I grew up with so many of those movies. the secret of NIMH, Watership Down... parents are so pathetically overprotective these days. god forbid a kid see a little stylized violence.

    That was really nice.
Shame all the songs had to end, sounded like they could've gone on for a bit.

I'm surprised the porn industry has been booming. I always figured that, as the internet became more and more popular, fewer and fewer people would pay for porn. good argument against copy protection right there.

Probably is due to other factors, such as since the world is going to pot, people will pay for more escapism. Or the baby boomers getting old and it's getting harder to keep it up.

    Back to videos!

Seriously pro skills at controlling the avatar in Toribash. Not just ripping enemies for points, but skill at control and balance.

Don't forget the rising unemployment. People sitting around at home bored = porn sales.

Regarding Toribash: Ripping an uncooperative opponent's spine in half is MUCH more satisfying than doing it to a dummy. And will elicit appropriate screams of violent elation from the crowd.

    wow.
no movie, no comic, no manga, no ANYTHING, not even dwarf fortress can compete with that game.

I figured it was because the porn industry embraced the internet as a medium rather than fought it. I mean c'mon, "The internet is for porn"?

Indeed, what Svenpa said! Awesome sound editing there and good comedy++ Not to forget nice animation!
    Also1, why no embed on the <i><b><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vF58rkJir5c" target="_blank">meet the BLU spy</a></b></i>?
    Also2, I've got a new YouTube Machinima online as well <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

I have a HQ version on my site, but this is only because I'm forcing the player to show the HQ version instead of the LQ version. I mean isn't it weird that I'm able to force the HQ version of the video in an embed. While this option isn't available on YouTube itself, saying HQ isn't available... While it clearly is... Ah well...

On a sidenote, couldn't this forum use an upgrade for it's embeded YouTube player (<a href="http://webvideotechniques.com/35/how-to-encode-your-videos-for-youtubes-new-high-quality-option" target="_blank">My Digital Life, HQ embed</a> and wide screen FTW)...

link to the HD one. Doesn't seem to work with the embedded...

Dono if it doesn't like the window size or what.

Ah, I completly forgot about the &fmt=18 variable... But the site link embed works fine for me though (also its in HQ even while not logged into youtube and both in IE and Fox) Even tried it on other compjutas as well <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />

Courtesy of Armonki in IRC, a supremely broken game of Worms with delightful commentary. Sadly, <a href="http://www.viddler.com/explore/TheAphasian/videos/2/" target="_blank">not a Youtube video</a> and therefore not embedded.

Considering the rest of the game, I thought the end was somehow quite appropriate.

so much <3 for Improv Everywhere.

Missions like that one are some of my favorite, simply because they are the "random crap to make a mess of NYers smile".

    for those not familiar:

<a href="http://improveverywhere.com/" target="_blank">Improv Everywhere</a>. They have been around since about 2000, and go in for causing random scenes around NY. Just about everything is there simply to make people stop and think or simply go "WTF?" or a few. They are also responsible for the No Pants subway ride which has now spread around the world.

Go, check out their website and read about the past missions <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
