Geometry help

I can't seem to get the geometry I want. It's probably due to my lack of experience but I need some help :(. Here is what I'm trying to get:

I've counted all the little boxes to make sure it's even and I still can't make it look right. Clearly I just suck, any advice would be appreciated.

It's not symmetrical because the ground isn't horizontal.
Therefore you can't use the same angles for the steps on both sides.
Easiest way would be to build the floor horizontal first and then rotate it as a whole.

As Razagal said, easiest way is to build it perfectly horizontal, that way you can count 4x4 boxes on the grid like you did to make the angles and rotate it using 5 degrees snap with texture lock. Then, you might consider moving the farest edges on each side so they snap on the grid, because they probably won't be align if you try to build any walls on them.

ref: front view, right edge; move it up 1 unit.

I see, thank you. I guess it just confused me because in my brain it should work, lol.
