just had a decent idea for the window, what if you used that cool reflective texture that is used on the bigger aliens shoulder armor in hl. It could be made to apear as a one way window/mirror. Just a thought, and not sure if it will work either, very nice shot by the end
Hey, is there a limit on point entities in a map? I have a suggestion for any mapper who wants detailed things such as pipes in their maps and stuff. Why don't we get a modeller to make some commonly shaped pipes or wires or something that mappers can use in their maps. They could be in sets of useful dimensions like 32x256 or 32x128 or something that could easily fit in maps. You could then build pipe systems along the walls that would give areas more detail without having all the r_speed and vis problems with making them out of world brushes.
