Will marine & alien models have one rectangular "box" used for detecting collisions? Or will it be broken up into parts -- for example, one for head, one for torso, and maybe one for each extremity.
Case in point: If there is a hole just big enough for a marine's head in a low ceiling, would the marine be able to poke his head through, but his body would be blocked?

One big box for collisions* would run faster in the engine as well, and hopefully prevent or limit silly things like getting stuck on the level architecture
*not to be confused with hitboxes, those need to be more detailed obviously
