<div class="IPBDescription">Currently in pre-alpha stage</div>Well remember about 2 weeks ago I came on and started asking questions? Well here's the first shots. Sorry I don't have a shot of marine start because the **** walls keep disappearing on me for some reason.
There is a paragraph or two describing each picture, that you can read on photobucket cause I don't want this thread to reach monumental length on the first post. Below is the overview shot, but check out the whole album while you are there as it shows the first 5 rooms (ok 4 cause again rine start is missing).

2. Want a centralised thread they can read to see how mappers are faring.
I would go for the obvious "a seperate mapping forum" but that- strangely- doesn't look like it's going to happen until the game is released or the mapping guidelines are posted.
Your layout looks nice and clean, FWIW.
For now I do not want something that is good looking, just a basic layout that I can change or detail up in a month or so (hence the ugly textures and hardly any props). In fact the only reason I have decided to include lighting is that I find it central to gameplay. I'd appreciate any thoughts on whether I should add more or less light for each of these rooms. I find the corner and pillars to be especially dark so expect to see a few more in those before I'm through, but what are your thoughts on Cargo / Ramp? Following the guidelines I have a good idea of every room I entend to do, each with a distinct layout and visual cueues for players to guide them towards the enemy, but I fully expect those ideas to change over time so any feedback is appreciated.
