I'm currently looking for a small team of modelers. Some <i>dedicated</i> modelers. I really only need about two. One is fine, but two can get things done faster.

Currently the projects I have in mind are small ones. So I would say you don't have to be a god like modeler, but a pretty average one at best.

If you're up to the job, just drop me a PM.

Any texture work can be done by me. (If you would like to help with texture art, drop me a PM)

If you aren't a modeler and would like to help with the EVA Project thing send me a PM.

I'm really not looking for any level designers. But I might be in the future.

If you send me a PM, please be sure to send <i>at least</i> two or three pictures of your work.

Edit: I guess I should give some info on what the EVA Project is.

E.V.A. is a like a outer space mall. I'm sure there is a word that describes that but I can't think of one. E.V.A. is the name of the space ship that is built inside an asteroid. Sounds neat huh?

A few things that you might see in E.V.A. are shops, hotel rooms, holograms (this a big part of the EVA Project that will be discussed later), and even a nice observation room to look at the friendly Kharaa.

The EVA Project is designed to be visually pleasing and fun for the player while being competitive and balanced.

    I have.

    But I figured doing it this way could make things more organized and get things done faster. Plus, I can assign certain models to certain people so they can get things done. Where as I would have to wait for someone to step up and say they're doing a model I requested.

    I've already requested a couple models in that thread to which have gotten no reply. I think doing it this way would make things easier.

    Also, it would be easier to give credit to who made what when everything is released.

    I don't have the time to be a dedicated modeler, but if you put up a list of models you need, I'm more than willing to have a go at some of them sometime (I use blender)

    I still don't understand what this is. Are you creating:
    A) a custom environment art set
    B) a map (with A)
    C) a mod (with A & B)

    You mentioned being competitive and balanced, so it surely must be either B or C. Care to elaborate?

    Yeah I wouldn't say it's an entirely new art set.

    Well, I guess it's more like C.

    you can have custom models without it being a mod I think, it becomes a mod if you start playing around with the game code in LUA

    Well you don't have to be like 100% dedicated. I mean, it's going to be awhile before NS2 comes out :P

    Also, what model formats do you have to save it as so the builder converts it?

    The builder isn't picking up .dae, .c4d, or .obj files.

    I can't get it to convert any of them :/

    I've done some actual work with Autodesk Inventor and I've dabbled with Blender. The only reason I don't play around more with Blender is mostly time but also that I have no inspiration for something to work on. I'll be happy to help although I probably don't have the time/talent to be heavily relied upon. But I'll gladly work on something if it will help. I am looking to work on my Blender skills. Even got a very powerful new desktop that's just asking for 3D model work.

    read the modeling guide, you need another file that refers to the .dae file
