Dynamic Minimaps

<div class="IPBDescription">And Commander pressing buttons</div>I wouldn't be surprised if UWE already thought about this, but I think it would be pretty neat if they could make it so that minimaps are "dynamic". By dynamic, I mean like if something gets welded, it would show up on the minimap that it is welded and can no longer be used.

Also, Commander should be able to press buttons. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the Commander can already do this in NS, but I can't seem to do it.

    Sounds like a good idea. It doesn't have to be a major change to the mini map, the little weld symbol could just go away.

    Yeah. One of those things that seems completely braindead duh we should do it (after all, the minimaps of NS1 dynamically added buildings), but good to bring up.

    I constantly check my mini-map and it would be nice to know who welded what.

    Of course, minimaps would have to be team-specific because if you're on the alien team and was looking at your minimap and noticed that a door to your hive suddenly became welded open then that kind of ruins it for the marines.

    I do hope the commander will be able to interact with buttons and such. Though perhaps it'll require a weldbot to fly over...
