Couple questions about mapping guidelines (and things)

Grateful for any input.

General questions:
- Can primary hallways go wider than 192 -- is this a loose guideline?
- Any restriction on the height of tech rooms? It seems like the hive comes out of a floor prop, and it's only so big (~300), so I imagine there must be some preferred height.
- Following on the heels of the last question, are there any preferred dimensions for tech rooms and resource rooms?
- Are "smaller" maps preferred? It seems as though the theme is for a more condensed map.
- Are the developers planning on including any player made maps with the game? Although the development team (and game) is still "small," the game's gone commercial, so I have to ask. I can only hope so after seeing what some of the this community has produced, at least aesthetically.

    Answer in order:

    1: Yes, if you wish.
    2: As far as I'm aware height is irrelevant, obviously not too small but upper limit from what I know of does not matter. I think that is when dynamic infestation kicks in.
    3: No, just big enough to place a 'base' in. As every tech point will be an area to build structures and base.
    4: Smaller maps preferred? I think the aim is simpler maps, if they're smaller fair enough. There is just an emphasis on players not getting lost going from tech point to tech point, if you have 4 hallways and 2 rooms in between everything it could get confusing.
    5: Possibly. It's being looked at you'd have to look at quality, time etc.

    I believe they would like to see less of the straight narrow corridors (with no cover) as seen in a lot of NS1 maps and more rooms of different size.
