I love the people who ###### about threads yet can't be torn away to post in them ;)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
And I'm sure a lot of ppl love ppl who feel special enough to open these kinda threads.. But see...he just trolled you; it's his way to welcome you back and make you feel home again.
Oh man... Tactical Gamer. Loved that server. Please tell me they're having an NS2 server?
Also, yeah.
Summary of recent events:
1) Deadline passes, seems to be too much for developers. 2) Features are revealed, heads rolled, etc. 3) Loads of Pre-Orders made 4) Pointless suggestions tossed around, subjected to Moral High Ground by "better" fans 5) Smart people go about their business, and speak of older days, patiently waiting for release.
6) Puzl posted slightly offensive post on last friday reveal thread. That's where I realized in how bad shape these forums are.
Otherwise it's what heyman said. 4 out of 5 lifeforms revealed, lerk spike comeback stirs up drama, some bugged up pre-pre-alpha gameplay footage released, alien res node revealed, everybody is scared that the game is wrecked from their viewpoint, alpha is coming 'soon'.

I remember what it was like to have you as commander on I think TGNS servers. Your commanding style was true to your namesake!
I miss those days.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Wow I haven't played there in years, been banned that one.
The teams wouldn't have to feel the fire if they lived up to what they brag about lol.
To Heyman,
Thanks for the summary. Really makes a lot of sense, which is why I ducked the forums for a while.
Also Sentry, Cybernetic Punks folded like a cheap suit after LP betrayed us. Kreeper promised to rebuild, but fell apart as CP is more of a gaming community than an agency.
I joined one other agency Cerberus, while they were good, they were ###### about how they couldn't hold territory because we barely had 1 strike force on regularly, but then had like 20% of the citadel map. Wasn't adding up. So they cried Zerg and I got really tired of hearing about it and the leadership while good in game was poor at the political metagame. So blah.
Hopefully that engine test comes out soon so it will be all good.

Damnit life!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yeah even during the beta it was a lot of fun.
But now its more of a chore to play, and the leveling makes the competitive AvA a chore to grind up.
New content patches will allow for open world PvP/PvE which will be interesting, but if they charge for it I am out.
We will see what happens though.
but back to NS2, I think if the developers need more time they should be awarded that, the engine test should be coming soon, which is a positive step towards the alpha release. I'm glad they are not taking the GA route and rushing the game, causing a lot of players to burn out.
We will definitely see what Flayra and Co has in store for us.
