Absolutely love NS with all my heart, brilliant game in my view, but when is it comming out? i know many people have probaly been asking this but seeming i dont keep myself informed about updates about this game, i see no harm in asking again :) any SLIGHT hints??

SO! since i cannot wait to play this game i am wondering if any people are still playing NS1? I need to grease up my skillsbearings.

Well, next week the 9th April we can try the engine test, above that there's nothing new about a release date.
And they're quite a few players there which play NS, just check the servers.

what will be available in the engine test ?

Buildings ? models ? Can we try being a skulk ? or a fade ?
can we fire ? Command chair will be available ? Resnode able to collect ? player able to build ?

Sounds more like what you've seen in the technical video they've released about occlusion culling and stuff.

You'll probably just be able to free-move in a map (as in a death cam).

Would be nice to also have some hotkeys for wireframe mode, level partition colors, etc.
