Judging from this, a playable Alpha won't be far away at all.
Also, I think it would prove extremely helpful if you implemented a very simple "rating" system for the engine test. Ask the users to submit a dxdiag.txt with a 1-5 star rating for performance, and any additional comments. Seems like that would be a bit better than sifting through forum posts.

Pretty sure only the final release will be on Steam.
All the tests are most likely going to be downloads, similar to the Spark Editor.
Can we customize some game rules using LUA code with tomorrow's engine version? :)

Hope their servers can handle it. Maybe they just won't send out an email until late to avoid that lol.
Though I don't know how big their engine will actually come out to be.
Have you guys set up any bug tracking systems? Or will you be using forum threads and emails as with the editor?
