I'm sure this has already been talked about so I'm sorry for most likely bringing it up again. I do not know how to set up the spawns in ready room or in hive and marine spawn. Can someone please help me. :-)

I can't wait to see what else is with this SDK update, i hope it allows the option of creating map files that are untouchable so we can have people test our maps!

It seems unlikely we will have such an option, as UWE seems to be embracing an open source approach with NS2 (in releasing all the game code in Lua)...

There a good reason to have maps made 'untouchable' but it more likely it will just set a bit somewhere and if the bit is set the editor will refuse to open the map for editing. Good enough to stop 95% of the people you need to worry about, so long as you don't tell them where it is.

IMO that's entirely the wrong attitude. Open-source maps should be the only way of having a map period.
Well, the player_start entity seems to be present already, so probably that. Engine test won't have hives or anything like that.
Oh and, you won't ever have anything untouchable. We're on the Internet. The way to stop knock-offs is to upload/save your file first somewhere that keeps track of submission date.
The problem with letting anyone edit maps... is that they do. First one guy "improves it. Then another. Then another. Then yet another guy takes an earlier version and edits THAT.
You soon end up with several dozen different versions of the map, all slightly different. It's frickin annoying.
