Indeed it is. Indeed most things are buggy right now, the rotation bug being the most painful so far...

But, yeah, it's pre-alpha. There are good chances it'll be fixed eventually.

I only ever make one face then never again. ctrl-d is your friend.

I'll either duplicate faces or create a fresh one and manipulate as I need.

I've only got one tiny tiny area where I've used extrude on the faces and then duplicated as needed because for some reason I set the angle at 28 degrees.

You should not create faces with rectangle tool.

Best is to use the line tool some times to add a line between vertexes. Don't forget that you'll have to merge your vertexes sometimes, especially when trying to create a face out of selected edges (in selection mode).

You should also try extruding edges and/or faces, it's one of the best 3D modeling method.

Notice that when you are making the faces, in error is it created a triangle as the face on the wall. I've had the same thing recently and was solved by making lines to complete the face instead.

I got a question. What is the best way to make a cut-out for a window? I have been extruding in a rectangle on both sides. I wonder if there is a better way to do it or if the overlapping faces will cause a problem.

Why not? All my geometry is 'modular' meaning it's easy to move around and change as I see fit.

The best way to make a window is to select the wall face that you want a window made in and then use the rectangle tool to create your window. If done correctly (and the editor doesn't bug out) you should then be able to use the select tool to select that "window" you just made and BAM - hit that delete key.

    Does that answer your question.

ALSO, it seems like the editor bugs out when I draw a face from "vertice-to-vertice" more often than if I draw a face from one vertice to anywhere else. Perhaps this info can help the devs in fixing this faster.
