Can't seem to get it to run

I installed it, I can launch it... play with the nice lobby. But when I go to create game, it pops up a crash handler that asks to submit info about the crash. I of course do, but how do I get it running.
Using windows XP on a new deskptop.
I tried reducing the graphics to medium like I saw in one post, but that didn't help.
Any other ideas? or links to more ideas?
thanks

Try windowed mode. The only way I can get it to load is with medium graphics and windowed mode.

    Tried that. No luck...
I am trying to run create game. As that is the only way I can see to get in to something.
    I crashes after "attempting connection"
So maybe something with windows firewall?

This the top of the log file...

    Build 140
RenderDevice: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT (6.14.11.7824)

Did you change any of your graphics card settings by chance? Try setting everything back to factory default.

My brother actually has pretty much exactly the same problem. Uses the same video card you do, too. I'll point him at this thread in case anything develops.

Looks like physX could be the cause you can try to diable it or install a driver without it

I'm not one of those guys who messes with his card... :) Don't really know how to do that kind of stuff. So the card should still be set to factory defaults...
as for the drivers for physx(sp)... not sure how to do that either... But I do know electronics and computers in general pretty well, so any links that explain it I can follow pretty easy...

try lowering the video quality from the highest to med or low. That solved it for me.
