The lights were put behind the fans when the janitors were cleaning out the ducts and one of them said wristfully,

"Hey John, don't you think if we put lights behind here it's look insanely good on some 3d graphics engine that we're not even fully rendered in?"

After placing the lights, both janitors were eaten by skulks.

The electric fan was invented in the late 1800’s. You would think a better, cooler looking fan would be used in the future. I like the squirrel cage myself.

Obviously these are very sophisticated nanotech fans, that's why they can create airflow while spinning so slowly.

Who needs a phasegate when you can have a VCR Controller disguised as a 2003(lol remember when Sci-Fi movies that thought the years 2000-2015 we were going to have personaly robots and flying cars and stuff) future tech device right in my pocket?

I want my personal robot as well; so where is my Weldbot Commander?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

if you showed the iphone to someone from old sci fi movies they would be awestruct. that def is some tech device in your pocket. either that or your happy to see someone.

It would seem you've been misinformed. It was, in fact, the fade shown in the gorge bellyslide video that ate the janitors. That particular fade seems to have a distinct aversion for unnaturally-lit fans.

And there we have it, the reason for lights behind fans!

Just wait until I start making really huge fans and putting lights ON the fan.

Like on the blades, in multiple colours, disco!
