tripple A indi developer zero point will release soon their next interstellar marines milestone. another interactive demo called "running man".

some underground i.t.o. training facility, basicaly a killhouse with popping up targets like the ns2 engine test, just more playable. i guess this one might get another eye opener for their title. they released 2 teaser videos on youtube, some interresting work in progress stuff and test footage aswell.

Yeeah, looking good. But I'm quite surprised that the Running Man demo seems to involve a man running :O

at the end of the second video, i totaly dig how the reverb of your gunfire sound is changing when you enter a larger room. the sound really gets "voluminetric" that way..
its kinda different to that silly hl2/all other source games sound echo crap... its more dynamic and changes fluently..

    ....max..

    check that out :p

i agree with the source lame echo thing,, remember hl1 inside the radiation chamber thing at the start that was echotastic!! ..

we have that dynamic reverb thing working in the internal build.

EAX allowed for geometry- and material-based processing for decades now, hasn't it?.. Why aren't we using this still?..

But, yeah, good to hear. Keep up the good work.
