As my topic title doesn't tell you much I give you reveal to my little mystery. Today I made gorge out of silver. "SILVER?!" you may ask. And yes, it is silver fineness of 925. Dimensions are something 2 x 2 x 2,5 cm. Yes you can see my fingerprints on the surface but I think they give some good Kharaa texture.

It was really fun to make and I had some hard times with original model (which was made from wax) as it melted in my fingertips. First I tried to make elephants but surprisingly I accindentally flattened them. So after a hour of frustation and failing I played for a while with Spark and boom I realized what I should do, I should do gorge. This wax gorge was made in 10 minutes and it wasn't flat, nothing like my failed elephants...

Then it was easy to make gypsum mold and pour the molten silver. Rest is history.

Now you need to make some sort of thing that uses its as an exposed switch (silver conducts electricity). So when you place it on said thing, and touches it, you get a strong shock (connected to the wall electricity ofc, maybe some resistances if it has a tendency to get warm and melt).

    "Hey, cool gorge dude."
    "Dont touch!"
"Yeesh, dude calm down, I will be carefull."

    "Told you."
"cll un uin ouh..." (call one-one-two)

Sweet! I've done casting in aluminium and tin, but not silver. Never anything with that amount of small detail though.

Here's a D20 I cast. You can just see the numbering on it.
