I have a question

For the spark editor when I try to draw line on the red, blue and green lines it doesn't allow me too. It pushes the line I am making away from the red, blue and green ones. It was working fine before but I don't know what I did to change it. I tried reinstalling and that didn't help. Can someone please help me?

They are tricky to use but your mouse cursor has to stay very close to the line so:
Hold left click and drag away along the guide untill your line appears and snaps onto the correct guide.
Then Press and Holt the SHIFT key and continue to move the rest of the way untill you are near where you want to be.
Holding the SHIFT key locks the line to that guide so you are free to let the mouse go wherever without your line unclipping from the guide line BUT While the SHIFT key is held other guides wont appear that show you if you are inline with another point.
So, when you get near where you want to be you need to move your mouse over the guide line and then release SHIFT and hover over the guide line and move a little bit along it, then your "lines up with guide line will show up again".

Thank you for the help. I feel like such a newbie, I've been using this editor for 100+ hours and never knew about the shift key while making lines. Thanks for the help again!

Don't worry so much about "finishing" a room... it will never be finished. Worry instead about whiteboxing (#1), then come in and and fill in interesting details later.

(#1) Create a very base outline of the level. Create only blocky rooms, hallways, entrances, etc. with as little detail as possible. When you're finished outlining, pick a room and start fleshing out the details. If you get stuck, move on to the next room, etc.
