NS Update?

I just downloaded a 71.3 mb patch through steam, but no patch notes to go with it. What did i download?

(NS2 to be exact)

If you read the twitter their informing that this update is for the incredible lag issue that appeared on steam version, which I and almost everybody else had.

So it's fixed now and it runs smoothly :)

We need the "get news" change log when NS2 is updated :)

Yep. Instead of Twitter communicate it through the patchnotes, that's why that feature is implemented on steam after all.

Unfortunately I don't think that's possible until Natural Selection 2 has a page in the Steam store.

speakin of which, whens there gonna be an official steam group? having one to build up hype for alpha and release would be pretty cool and also linking in updates to ns2 there would be good aswell.

I still get ridiculously f-ed up polygons. The first person view of the gun and all of the HUD elements never display and many of the polygons converge to the center of the screen as I walk around. I had no problems with the non-steam version, but the new one simply doesn't work for me.
