My credit card doesnt work

Basically I bought a visa gift card from a shopping place, but it doesn't work for ns2 payment. I added the card in my paypal account and tried to buy stuff from ebay and other games on steam and it works fine. But when I click Buy for the $39.99 one, I logged in paypal and did exactly same way as i did on ebay and such, but it gave me a message. "You cannot complete this action on the card you have selected. Please select another card". Is there another way to pay for it? I really wanna test out alpha thing and also get black armor when it release.

    My senses tell me that you probably don't have enough money on the card. Also, I don't think this is a good place to discuss credit card woes.

    Credit 'gift' cards are also non-reloadable AFAIK. It'll have a serial number and a website (or phone number most likely) to check your available balance, but after you use it up you should probably shred it.

    have you got a verified bank account linked to your paypal? if so you can pay via the bank account and it should transfer the funds straight away since you have a visa card registered there as a secondary form of payment.

    Ok, Sorry guys. I figured it out. I forgot to log into my giftcard account to register my address in it. lol

    so hope i didnt scare anyone out there trying to use visa gift card to pay as well
