is that including the original batch of pre-orders or ~10000 added to the original ~9000? i hope it's in addition to the original ~9000... only another 1000 seems kinda odd

Same as me. Saw the timer and figured I would get involved in the Alpha!
Also black armour is a nice touch and they definitely earnt the extra from NS1. Game was one of the best fps for its time.

wow... my estimation was way off then. it would appear that the majority didn't need confirmation that alpha was coming for them to drop $40 on the preorder.

still a healthy number, but i expected much more.

Typical, just typical. I wonder how many of you lucky sods have SE? As due to the great monstrosity that is Paypal and my own earlier hesitation, after a week of franticly pushing buttons I still can't upgrade to SE as PayPal has provided me with a ever increasing length of time for my money to clear... sigh. Even the probably lengthy clearing times would have been worth it as the alpha will probably last a while. On a relevant note I hope everyone enjoys the Alpha as it looks impressive (just less exciting without me present :)


P.S. Note to Unknown worlds, next time provide other methods of payment than the ever finnicky paypal

Well, as of now, the SE database is set in stone permanently. Those of us in it, are there forever, an elite club of only the most generous ns fans. The fact that no one can join anymore I think is awesome. I paid the extra $20.
