<div class="IPBDescription">Idea stolen from WoW</div>Would be nice when clicking on an upgrade, that an icon would appear somewhere with a clock underneath it (for all players) like a buff/debuff in WoW.
That way everyone knows when the next upgrade is coming. Its unobtrusive yet extremely useful. This lets players know when jet packs are on the way/HA and plan accordingly.
To expand on this, When a upgrade is finished ie Armour, A sound should play, like picking up an armour powerup in quake 3. Something obvious that lets everyone know its time to rock and roll.

Perhaps just a generic "What the commander if upgrading" system would suffice sitting in the upper left.
Still, a nice feature.
On the rest of the marines, I'm not sure. On NS1 I'd probably even dislike one on public, since people would just sit at base once an upgrade is about to finish.
anyway if you are admin in your server u can simply kick those moron waiting a shotgun in base lol.
edit : btw every player should be able to cast a vote with the option "player afk" or "player anti teamplay" AND ONLY PPL IN HIS TEAM COULD BE ABLE TO KICK HIM (because the other team will of course always vote no...)

joojamoi implemented something at ABLE.ns (not sure if it was his own work or someone elses) where if you typed "/upgradeson" into chat, you got a list of tech currently researching, with time till completion next to them.
