Problems with the game

Hello there,
dear player of ns, im troubleling some issues on my NS2 installation,

i started a server normally in the game for test the game, its laggy and i have a Xeon side with 4gb of ram and 1gb video card,
unfortunally the game its locking the character and when i shot, the sound of shot go to infinitum and stop to shot.

Can anyone help me on that

    What you installed is the engine test.
    It isn't optimized yet and runs badly on some hardware configurations.
    The sound bug is a known issue, but it won't get fixed before alpha release.

    It does the same thing to me. It is not a stabile build.
    Dont worry about it. Soon real alpha will come.
