upgrade from standard to special

well, i bough a standard edition of ns2, but as soon i saw that there was gonna be a alpha release today, i got surprised and bough the special edition and got the cdkey, i already registered the standard cdkey but steam wont let me register the special edition, could any dev help me out? my email is genovev_12@hotmail.com

Please, on the front page is the announcement about this.
You must wait until the timer reach 00:00:00 and they will sent out the Alpha keys so you can start playing.

If you mean you get an error message about 'beta' play, then thats okay - We're all being sent ANOTHER cd key within an hour or so (when the timer reaches zero on the home page).
