Console commands

I'm having to connect through console to my friend's server since it's not showing up in the server browser. While connecting this way is fine, we've had to put a password on the server to see if that helps keep the lag down. Only problem is now, I know the syntax to connect without the password, but not how to add the password onto the command.

connect (server ip:port) (?)

Anyone know what goes where the question mark goes? No, it's not -password.

    I was trying to figure that out also.. It sure would be nice to have a list of commands.
    How did you find your servers ip?

    Like source games and ns1 type the password first in the console


    password "password here"
    then connect server ip:port

    Does that work?
