Can we post videos of alpha gameplay?

Hi!

I don't know if we alpha kings have some kind of NDA that doesn't allow us to post videos of the game on the internet, can someone confirm this?

Thx!!

There was no ToC you had to agree to when installing.
Thus i would think you are pretty safe.
In fact im pretty sure UW would like you to tell all your mates and the world about NS2
More interest = more $$ = Better faster finished product :)

If you post something I would be sure to plaster "Unfinished Alpha: This Video is Not Representative of Final Gameplay or Performance" and other disclaimers all over it so that people understand that NS2 is not going to be this buggy.

and don't really put it on all news sites, as long as it stays in this forum it's more than ok. But having it all over the internet is probably not the best publicity with an alpha. thats why you never see alpha footage of other big games on the internet.

That beeing said, you can do whatever you want :)

You can, but I probably wouldn't. The general public is going to be much less understanding than we are.

The general public is already here judging from all these loller threads and posts complaining about the alpha and questioning everything as a result.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just don't go around bashing NS2 in its current state. Keep the bashing here if you must. No one else needs to know how unplayable the first alpha build is.
