<div class="IPBDescription">Try this</div>Well I couldn't get into a game on the first day. This is what I did to get NS2 to work.

1. Delete all contents of NS2 from Steam and HD.
2. Retrieve authorization info.
3. Add game to steam. Add first authorization code. Meaning the first code you got from UWE. Install to Steam.
4. Add second authorization code.
5. Install NVIDIA PhysX System Software. Went to Nvidia site for download.
6. Create a shortcut from the C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2 folder. Don't run game through steam.
7. Start lan game when you finally get in working. It took me 5 minutes to get a game up and running. You will have to wait a bit longer depending how fast your machine is.
8. Get out of lan game and start game through desktop shortcut. Find internet game. Most game are going to be full. Find a game with 0 to 1 player to test connection.
9. You will see Attempting to Connect, wait no longer than 5 minutes if it is working.
10. Try low player games.

This should work for you.

No changes, text bugs, destroyed/invisible models and stuff.
I hope they fix they fix it, because its not even done for testing or take a look, its crashing and not working, its more a pre-alpha.
Only junction is playable if you call it "playable" its more "lookable"...

I hate to break it to you but none of that is necessary. The connection problems you are seeing are known bugs and are being repaired as we speak. We should see a lot less of these types of issues once the next build is released.

In other words, STOP RE-INSTALLING PEOPLE! :-)

yeah, i wasnt able to connect, so i left it connecting and went to sleep, in the morning i was online, and played a few minutes before leaving to work...

    Yes, Really.
    xD

So idk how much it took, but certainly more than 5 minutes...

in other words, the forum's post per second increased like 1000% since alpha release, 90% flame and 10% light threads. Amazing, it would be better if we limit to report bugs trough the official method heh?
