I might see the worth of a gamepad, but I see no reason for a joystick.

Also, studies have proven keyboard+mouse is superior in accuracy and speed over gamepads every time. Except when you need to pull off combos in a fighting game.

We used to play Half-Life mp with joysticks and gamepads for giggles, back then.
You really do not want to face someone who is using a mouse+keyboard in an fps when all you have is a gamepad or joystick.

But I guess supporting gamepads and joysticks does not hurt, although I am not sure why you want to cripple yourself.

Otherwise, a PC (Mac?/Linux?) keyboard+mouse game. And you want to go and use a "JoyPad"? You do realize this is an FPS and RTS combo? Probably the worst game genres to be playing with those things...
