<div class="IPBDescription">I am not sure how it can be introduced on the game but...</div>I was thinking that the Hive commander could attack the Marine Commander or just make it harder and vice versa.
I do not mean damaging the commander I mean making his camera go funny and other things. The alien commander could make the marine commanders view go blurring and maybe disable his moves for a short period of time. The same for the marine commander.
It wouldn't need much explaination on how it works as the marine commander could send a shock of electricity to the Alien Commander and and something similar for the Kharaa commader.
but it would need to be tweeked a lot to prevent abuse but I think it is a good idea.

For example the marines interfere with hivemind, but their radar is jammed and shows bogus contacts in return for the duration of the effect.
I mean doing something like screwing with Motion tracking to give false positive? OK. Screwing with the Power grid for a short period? OK.
Screwing with the commander's interface? Not OK.
I don't mind having a commander interfering ability or two, but I think those should still contribute more to the field play instead of just being a way for commanders to have their own slugfest on a completely different layer.
