Here are some suggestions for now before DI gets put into the game:
-low hp so one full MG can kill a hydra(kind of sad that a building that can be spammed can do more damage then a player and live) -limit how close your can build hydras to one another( stops spawn rushing and camping) -lower the speed at which hydras build (by 80%) / make it so the spray makes it build faster (As fast as it builds now)
Aside from the spamability, I want to propose Hydra placement preventation on top of Resource nodes and Tech Points. It gets annoying when a Gorge plops a Hydra on top of a nozzle, when it would be 10x better to have a Harvester there instead.
Just have it how it was in NS1; Make the hydras more expensive and have a limit to the number of structures per area. All the limitations people are asking to place on them will simply insure that marines will win the majority of the time.

I see this way too many times in normal games. A single hydra can prevent a hive from being made. It's the perfect grieving tool.
