If i pre-order now, can i play the beta? i saw a message saying the beta is availible to people who pre-ordered before nov 19th (yesterday) so i just want to make sure.

Minimum, and I say again minimum requirements:

A 1.2 GHz Processor (X2 recommended), a DirectX 9 level graphics card, Windows Vista/2000/XP, as much RAM you can get (for XP 2Gb is fine, for vista or 7 go for 4Gb in total for your system), Steam, mouse, keyboard and of course, an internet connection.


My NS2 folder inside Steam has a size of 2.78 GB

It's taken up 3.5GB on mine but I dont know how much of that is my own poop i been working on ;)
I am pretty sure its 2.8GB at the moment but thats still growing, it could also shrink with any future compression of the current assets.

FusionMonkey's NS2's broken if it only takes 1.5GB ;)

i think i would recommend at least a core2duo or similar dual core amd, and at least and ati 3xxx or nvidia 8xxx card to get playable performance.
